I only read when my OCD kicks in
I enjoy reading, however, the bulk of reading only occurs while I am in an OCD focus zone. Last year I read over 70 books but I didn't pick up a book from August 2013 until March 25, 2014... I have already read 3 books this year!
The Name of the Wind: The Kingkiller Chronicle: Day One
A good book but again I was left wanting more. I found the ending anticlimactic. Seems like this book peeked for me before the dragon scene and from there it was all down hill. I probably would have given this review a 5 star review if not for the dragon scene. For me, that scene took a well crafted world and novel and turned it to silly and childish in one fell swoop.I was hoping for so much more I am so disappointed after reading this that I have to fight myself to even give it a 4 star rating.
But.... if you are a musician and you think you have game you must read this book to know how to be awesome with a lute or a guitar.
